You start to plan your beach vacation only to become over whelmed with all of the accommodations available to choose from, so what is the difference between a hotel, condo, and beach house.
Hotels typically operate under a single owner whereas the hotel manager is responsible for ensuring the highest occupancy level for all of the rooms. Hotel rooms are smaller rooms and do not offer amenities such as a full kitchen, washer and dryers, as well as separate living and bedroom. Daily maid service and room service are available in most hotels.
Resorts are generally owned in a fee simple by individual owners allowing varying management companies to oversee the daily responsibility of managing and marketing. Rooms vary from studios to multiple bedrooms and may feature basic living necessities. Resorts also offer guests a variety of amenities such as numerous pools, restaurants, and shops on site. Unlike a hotel some services such as room service and daily maid service may not be available.
Condominiums are individually owned units in large duplexes or high rises. They have separate living including a fully stocked kitchen, in unit washer and dryer, and may offer up to six bedrooms. Each condo is decorated to the owner’s taste so units vary from one to another.
